3. Eligibility & Continuing Requirements
A driver may use the Driver App only if they:
- Are legally entitled to perform the relevant licensed transport work
- Hold all mandatory licences and insurance required for their service type
- Have suitable vehicles where applicable
- Maintain a safe and lawful operating condition
- Provide true and accurate information to Executive Line Chauffeurs
Eligibility is ongoing and not a one-off event. Drivers must promptly notify the company of material changes affecting identity, licence status, insurance status, right to work, criminal matters relevant to licensing, payment details, vehicle status or contact information.
4. Account Registration & Document Submission
The driver must register with genuine and accurate personal information and must ensure that all documents and declarations submitted through the app are authentic, current and lawfully provided. Where the app requires driver documents, the driver confirms that they are entitled to submit those documents and that doing so does not violate the rights of a third party.
Executive Line Chauffeurs may reject, request replacement of, or suspend reliance on incomplete, expired, unclear, inconsistent or apparently misleading documents.
5. Security of Your Account
Drivers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity reasonably associated with their account. Passwords must not be shared.
Drivers must use reasonable care to prevent unauthorised access to their device and account, and must notify Executive Line Chauffeurs without undue delay if they suspect unauthorised access, credential compromise or suspicious account activity. The company may suspend access or require further verification where account misuse or security concerns are suspected.
6. Driver Conduct & Service Standards
Drivers using the app are expected to behave professionally, lawfully and safely at all times. This includes, without limitation:
- Maintaining punctuality and safe driving
- Holding valid and current licensing
- Presenting clean and roadworthy vehicles where applicable
- Treating passengers and staff with respect
- Communicating honestly and handling passenger property properly
- Complying with route and pickup instructions where reasonable
- Complying with local law, operator requirements and health and safety expectations
Drivers must not use the app in a way that harms the reputation of Executive Line Chauffeurs, endangers passengers, or undermines platform integrity.
7. Use of Location, Live Status & Trip Data
The Driver App may process GPS, routing, live status and trip information in order to support dispatch, estimated arrival times, safety controls, customer communication, quality assurance, incident handling and payment administration.
Drivers must not intentionally manipulate location data, arrival status or service milestones in a deceptive way. Deliberate misuse of status buttons, false arrivals, ghost attendance, fake waiting time, route manipulation for improper charging or other dishonest conduct may result in suspension, non-payment, recovery action or termination.
8. Booking Acceptance, Cancellations & Performance
Booking opportunities may be offered through the app subject to operational requirements, client needs, driver availability and service standards. Executive Line Chauffeurs does not guarantee that all drivers will receive bookings, that bookings will be offered equally, or that any particular volume of work will be available.
Drivers are expected to accept only work that they can lawfully and practically complete. Repeated late cancellations, no-shows, avoidable missed pickups, service failures, repeated failure to keep documents current, or materially poor passenger experience may result in warnings, reduced access to bookings, temporary suspension, financial adjustment where contractually permitted, or termination of app access.
9. Payments, Adjustments & Deductions
Where the platform is used to support payment administration, Executive Line Chauffeurs may process driver earnings, adjustments, fees, deductions, credits, reimbursements and payment corrections in line with any applicable driver contract, subcontract, rate card, operator agreement or lawful internal policy.
Drivers remain responsible for ensuring that payment details supplied through the app are correct. The company may withhold, delay or reverse payment where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, duplicate claims, unresolved complaints, chargebacks, legal process, documentation deficiencies or other legitimate operational or legal concerns.
10. Data Accuracy & Record Keeping
Drivers must keep the information on their profile accurate and up to date. This includes address information, contact details, emergency contact information, bank details, licence details, insurance details and uploaded documents.
Executive Line Chauffeurs may rely on information in the app unless and until corrected by the driver or otherwise verified. The company may retain records of account activity, bookings, messages, onboarding submissions, acknowledgements, training notices, versioned policy acceptances and other operational events to maintain an audit trail and defend legal rights.
11. Fraud, Misuse & Prohibited Conduct
Drivers must not misuse the Driver App. Prohibited conduct includes, by way of example:
- Sharing credentials or impersonation
- Falsifying documents or uploading altered/misleading records
- Circumventing geolocation or dispatch controls
- Unauthorised use of another person's account
- Misuse of passenger data
- Harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour
- Solicitation outside authorised channels
- Attempts to interfere with system operation or data scraping
- Reverse engineering except where mandatory law permits
- Any other dishonest, unsafe or unlawful use of the app
12. Suspension, Restriction & Termination
Executive Line Chauffeurs may suspend, restrict, investigate or terminate a driver's access to the app immediately or on notice where there is a security concern, suspected fraud, compliance failure, expired or missing documents, unsafe conduct, repeated service failures, legal or regulatory risk, business restructuring, or any other reason that makes continued access inappropriate in the company's reasonable judgement.
Suspension or termination of app access does not by itself waive any outstanding liabilities owed by either party and does not prevent the company from reporting serious matters to regulators, clients, insurers or law enforcement where appropriate.
13. Intellectual Property & Software Use
The Driver App, its software, design, workflows, text, logos, configuration, documentation and related business systems remain the property of Executive Line Chauffeurs and/or its licensors. Drivers receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for lawful business purposes connected with the driver relationship.
Drivers must not copy, adapt, distribute, sublicense, decompile or commercially exploit the app except as permitted by applicable law.
14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Driver App and related systems are provided on an "as available" basis. Executive Line Chauffeurs does not warrant uninterrupted access, perfect availability, continuous mobile data connectivity, error-free transmission, or compatibility with every device configuration.
The company is not liable for losses resulting from network failure, third-party outages, device malfunction, mapping errors, force majeure events or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
15. Indemnity & Driver Responsibility
Where permitted by law and by any separate contract in force, the driver is responsible for their own acts and omissions, the condition and legality of their vehicle where relevant, and compliance with the laws and licensing conditions applicable to the services they provide.
The driver agrees to indemnify Executive Line Chauffeurs against losses, claims, liabilities, fines, costs and expenses arising from the driver's breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, misuse of the app, inaccurate documentation, regulatory non-compliance or negligent/wilful acts, except to the extent caused by the company's own breach or negligence.
16. Data Protection & Confidentiality
Drivers must handle any passenger, client, staff or company information accessed through the app as confidential and must use it only for legitimate booking fulfilment and related authorised business activity.
Passenger phone numbers, addresses, itinerary details, corporate booking information and internal dispatch messages must not be copied, retained, shared or used for private solicitation, marketing or other unauthorised purposes. The company processes driver personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
17. App Changes & Updates
Executive Line Chauffeurs may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Driver App from time to time for operational, security, legal or commercial reasons. This may include changes to workflows, permissions, required app versions, document requirements, supported devices or service features.
Continued use of the app after an update or notice of revised terms will usually constitute acceptance of the updated terms, except where a mandatory law requires a different approach.
18. Force Majeure
Executive Line Chauffeurs is not responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, public health events, labour disruption, governmental action, telecoms failure, cloud infrastructure failure, cyber incidents originating outside the company's systems, fuel shortages, road closures, civil unrest or similar events.
19. Complaints & Operational Contact
Operational questions, complaints or concerns about these Terms or the Driver App may be submitted through the company's support channels or using:
Website: executiveline.co.uk
Email: info@executiveline.co.uk
Telephone: +44 1223 737272
20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, unless another mandatory forum applies under applicable consumer or employment law.
21. Changes to the Terms
Executive Line Chauffeurs may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is made available in the app, on the website or by another reasonable communication method. Continued use of the Driver App after the effective date of a revised version will normally constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
